The class com.interwoven.livesite.external.runtime.Livesite has a handy method to return the edit link of the current page. All you have to do is create an External call in the SitePublisher component and you have it.

    <External>
    <Object Scope="local">com.interwoven.livesite.external.runtime.Livesite</Object>
    <Method>getLivePageEditLink</Method>
    </External>

or as a prefix

<Prefix Scope="local" Object="com.interwoven.livesite.external.runtime.Livesite" Method="getLivePageEditLink" />

In the event you want to force the page to be in “In-Context edit” mode, pass the parameter &isInContextEdit=true
