If you get a kind of error when generating a lot of pages that says that components are overlapping, it’s easy to figure out where this happens.

Edit the page as per normal and you can see on the right hand side the components and templates console. This lists all your components  and templates and indicates with red little squares where the overlaps occur.

If the red square is on top of another dotted square, then the component is overlapping another one.

If the red square is underneath another dotted square, then the component is being overlapped by another one.

Simply move or resize the offending components and your page should be ok.

Note that you can still save a page with overlapping components. you will not be able to generate a page with overlapping components.

Good feedback Laurent. Check one thing though before moving overlapping components on a page. If you have a template on the page, the components may come from the template. If they do, fix the template and not the components on the page. This ensures that future changes to the template are properly reflected on that page as the template gets updated.
