If you want to know what it’s like to work for a big consulting company that works for a big organisation with big demands, have a look at my timesheet for the week. Admittedly, this is during a launch period, but still…

  • Monday: 7:30 am to 12 am, working through lunch
  • Tuesday: 9 am to 8 pm, working through lunch
  • Wednesday: 9 am to 11 pm, working through lunch
  • Thursday: 8 am to 4:30 pm, working through lunch. going on holiday

Very true, this reminded me of last year when my biweekly timesheet looked likes this (keep in mind average biweekly timesheet is 80 hrs :)):
    10/01 – 10/15 – 108 hrs
    10/16 – 10/30 – 116 hrs
    11/01 – 11/15 – 110 hrs
    11/16 – 11/30 -124 hrs
and this was going on for months.
